Welcome to Artesia Cemetery District
The Artesia Cemetery District...
Serves the residents of Artesia, Cerritos, Hawaiian Gardens, and portions of Lakewood, Long Beach, and Norwalk.
What is a Public Cemetery?
Public cemeteries were established by the State of California in 1909. These cemeteries are funded primarily by property tax revenues and from services rendered at the time of burial. Residents are entitled to burial services at reduced costs. Citizens living outside the district must pay an additional non-resident fee.

In Remembrance of John "Johnny" Martins
The Board of Trustees, Management, and Staff of the Artesia Cemetery District wants to extend its condolences to the entire Martins family. John played taps for us for Memorial Day and was a great ambassador for the city of Artesia and all of those that he came across. We send our thoughts and prayers to his family at this time.
Yearly Price Increases will be discussed at the next board meeting on July 9th, 2018 and if approved will take effect on August 1st, 2018.
So make sure you get in and make your pre-need purchases before then to get graves at the current prices.
